EcoVadis/Ulula Joins OS Hub Spotlight to Expand Access to Grievance Mechanism Data

As part of the launch of OS Hub Spotlight, a new integration between Open Supply Hub and EcoVadis/Ulula will surface whether active grievance mechanisms are in place at production locations, giving brands, retailers, and civil society a clearer, more complete picture of the facilities in their supply chains.

The Challenge: Fragmented Data, Fragmented Progress

Understanding conditions at a production location – whether wages are fair, what emissions look like, whether workers have a genuine voice – has long required piecing together data from multiple systems, standards bodies, and assessment providers. If the information exists, it rarely lives in one place.

Open Supply Hub was built to solve part of that problem: a free, open platform that gives every production location in the world a persistent, unique identifier (the OS ID), enabling data to be connected across systems. Now, Open Supply Hub is going further, expanding the data discoverable on production location profiles through OS Hub Spotlight: a growing ecosystem of integrations with leading data providers.

What EcoVadis and Ulula Bring to Open Supply Hub

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, covering environmental, social, ethics, and sustainable procurement performance. Ulula, an EcoVadis company, specializes in worker engagement and supply chain due diligence, gathering direct input from workers through mobile-based surveys and grievance mechanisms.

Through this integration, OS Hub production location profiles will surface whether an active grievance mechanism is in place at a given facility. This gives users a clear, verifiable signal of whether a formal channel for workers to raise concerns exists at that location, directly within the OS Hub profile.

“By linking Ulula’s extensive work on production locations worldwide with OS Hub’s depth of transparent information, we can supercharge the insights available to both our clients and sustainability stakeholders globally.”

– Avinash Bhavnani, Product Lead, Ulula/Ecovadis

Part of a Bigger Picture

This integration is part of the launch of OS Hub Spotlight, which has initially launched with 10 partners. Across the full cohort of launch partners, production location profiles will begin to surface a wider range of environmental, social, and governance data points – from greenhouse gas emissions estimates to living wage, certifications, and audit findings.

The goal is not to duplicate what partner platforms do, but to create clear signposts: users on OS Hub will be able to see which data exists, where it comes from, and how to access it, all anchored to a verified location identifier.

“Effective supply chain insights rely on connected systems and collaboration. We’re thrilled to welcome EcoVadis/Ulula as a founding OS Hub Spotlight Partner, bringing greater visibility into grievance mechanism coverage across global supply chains. This integration enables sourcing, due diligence, and compliance teams to more easily access and layer this information alongside other key partners and datasets to contribute to a richer, more complete picture of workers’ access to remedy and responsible production across global supply chains.”

– Natalie Grillon, CEO, Open Supply Hub

What This Means for Users

For brands and retailers conducting supply chain due diligence, this integration reduces the manual effort required to cross-reference assessment data with facility lists. For civil society organisations and researchers, it adds a new layer of context to location profiles that were previously limited to basic registration and affiliation data. For workers, the visibility of active engagement mechanisms on a production location’s public profile strengthens accountability. For suppliers, this means a smoother onboarding process, as information is already available in the OS Hub network.

What’s Next

This announcement follows early pilot integrations – including greenhouse gas emissions estimates from Climate TRACE and wage data from the Living Wage Institute and the WageIndicator Foundation – and the full suite of integrations will be available, with detailed guidance for all users and partners.
