Carbon Action Solution for Global
Supply Chains

The EcoVadis Carbon Action Module empowers sustainable procurement and climate change leaders with insights on supplier GHG/carbon management practices and provides a toolkit to prioritize, engage and drive emissions reductions to meet your decarbonization goals.

Drivers for Carbon Action Have
Never Been Stronger

Growing sustainability concerns from investors, increased demands from customers and industry peers, a surge in new climate change regulations, and massive global shifts in public opinion have put unprecedented pressure on businesses to act.

The Complex Challenge of Scope 3 Reduction

Small and medium-sized businesses account for 70% of global supply chains yet less than 15% are currently reporting on carbon. Collecting carbon data down the supply chain accurately and reliably continues
to be a complex challenge.

Buyer

  • Little access to supply chain carbon data
  • Lack of transparency or assurance of data quality
  • Difficulty keeping suppliers engaged

Supplier

  • Unable to access cost-efficient resources
  • Difficulty making long-term commitments
  • Lack of maturity

The Limitations of Typical Approaches

The vast majority of carbon reporting solutions cannot be scaled to a global supply chain and are not designed to drive performance improvement.

How do you get trusted data beyond your largest suppliers?

How do you monitor and collaborate on performance improvement over time?

How can you embed climate action into your overall supplier sustainability program?
